  Innovation Seminar Series has a series of brilliant speakers who are at d
 ifferent stages in their Innovation and Entrepreneurship journey.\n\nWe ar
 e delighted to welcome Dr Ruizhi Wang\, co-founder and CEO of Hexagonfab i
 n our Feb talk. The title of Ruizhi's talk is "Academic innovation turned 
 start-up company”.\n\nAbout the Talk\nNew discoveries and inventions are
  often made at Universities\, but how can such innovations transition for 
 industry applications? This talk will be about the journey from a discover
 y made at the Engineering Department of the University of Cambridge to fou
 nding and growing a start-up company. The focus will be on the role that i
 nnovation had in the process\, but will put it into perspective in the lar
 ger picture of entrepreneurship.\n\nAbout the Speaker\nRuizhi Wang is the 
 Founder of HexagonFab\, a company developing nano-material powered researc
 h instruments to accelerate drug development. The technology utilised by H
 exagonFab was developed during his PhD at the University of Cambridge.\n\n
 About the Seminar Series\nThis series of seminars happens monthly and spea
 kers will present their ideas and experiences on how innovation impacts th
 eir endeavours.\n\nWe have a varied list of speakers\, from academics turn
 ed in to entrepreneurs all the way to established companies.\nThe format i
 s a 45 minute talk\, followed by Q&A.\nAttendance is free but spaces are l
