DESCRIPTION:Digital fabrication with concrete has emerged as a very dynami
 c field of research over the past few years\, and several start-up compani
 es are already operational. While these are mainly pursuing extrusion prin
 ting\, a wider range of digital fabrication processes is being used in the
  National Competence Centre for Research in Digital Fabrication (NCCR dfab
 ) at ETH Zurich. Although several of these processes are promising\, their
  adoption by industry is currently limited by issues of structural integri
 ty\, material footprint\, durability\, and economic competitiveness. The t
 alk will provide an overview of current research in the NCCR dfab at ETH Z
 urich that addresses these challenges.
