DESCRIPTION:The lecture will describe my own ‘story’ of pursuing a res
 earch career in Science and Biomedical Engineering\, and to share with you
  the importance of having a vision and pursuing it with everything you pos
 sess. The lecture will start by going back in time to share with you my jo
 urney to get to where I am right now and the source of the motivation that
  led to my discoveries. The lecture will discuss the challenges in develop
 ing these discoveries to their full potential\, what has hindered and what
  has helped. I will discuss the importance of building stronger links with
