 f1a639\n\nBased in Cambridge\, Riverlane https://www.riverlane.com/ build
s ground-breaking software to unleash the power of quantum compuiters. Ba
cked by leading venture-capital funds and the University of Cambridge\, Ri
verlane develops software that transforms quantum computers from experimen
tal technology into commerical products.\n\nRiverlane is developing a Pyth
on based framework to define the control stack of quantum computers. To co
ntrol a quantum computer a heterogeneous system with CPUs\, FPGAs and cust
om hardware is needed. The Riverlane Deltalanguage allows you to write py
thon (and migen) code to so do. Python has been adopted as physicists and
other users are asking for a familiar yet powerful language and Riverlane
are ensuring that quantum computing can can be readily adopted.\n\nThe sp
eaker will be Marco Ghibaudi who is Vice President of Engineering at River
lane and a FPGA expert with a PhD in Innovative Technologies from CERN / S
cuolaSuperiore Sant’Anna Pisa. As part of his PhD\, he contributed to t
he design of the CERN ATLAS experiment back-end electronics and to the dev
elopment of prototypes used in automative\, IOT and fibre-optic communicat
ions. In the past five years\, Marco has worked in multinational companie
s specializing in systems on chip and consumer electronics.
