DESCRIPTION:Owing to the attitude of taking selfies\, the first two decade
 s of the twenty-first century has seen a remarkable advancement of smartph
 one camera technology. Today\, more people can take a selfie anytime and a
 nywhere than measure their vital signs such as heart rate or blood pressur
 e- more than 25% of the population has clinically elevated blood pressure\
 , a major modifiable risk factor for cardiovascular disease.\nPERFEXIA's D
 ocMe app addresses this problem by democratising access to a medical-grade
  vital signs measurement tool by people taking a selfie. DocMe brings esse
 ntial health information in one place and can facilitate a faster\, more c
 omprehensive clinical assessment of a patient. In this talk\, the presente
 r will share her experience developing and validating DocMe.\n
