DESCRIPTION:A surge in published research reviews of interventions in ASD
raises questions about motivating factors on the one hand\, and the streng
th of the science on the other. One obvious truth is that a single interv
ention is not effective for all individuals with ASD\; another that most i
ntervention trials fail to represent the entire spectrum of autism raising
questions about our current evidence base. As we move the field of inter
vention science in ASD forward\, we must tackle a number of research issue
s in order to inform both research and clinical practice. This talk will
address personalizing interventions for individuals with ASD in different
  contexts.
