 – 26 April 2021 | 15:00-17:00*\n\n*Abstract:*\nThe 'Epistemologies of La
 nd' webcast series will host international experts for discussions on the 
 epistemology of land\, ahead of a related publication which will highlight
  the role of the land on\, and with which\, human relations are enacted an
 d how this land affects the knowledge that is generated and brought to use
  in social relations. The events are open to interested graduate and postg
 raduate researchers.\n\n\n*Speaker:*\nSakshi Aravind is a doctoral student
  in the Department of Land Economy\, University of Cambridge.\n\nAfter gra
 duating from the University of Oxford\, where she studied for the Bachelor
  of Civil Law (2014-15)\, specialising in criminal law and evidence\, she 
 worked as a Research Fellow at Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy\, a New Delhi
  based legal think-tank\, on specialised matters of narcotics and criminal
  law and environmental law and policy. In 2017-2018\, Sakshi completed her
  MPhil in Environmental Policy at the Department of Land Economy\, Univers
 ity of Cambridge.\n\nShe has a keen interest in green criminology and anim
 al legal personhood and has been pursuing a parallel project on the latter
 \, alongside her doctoral work.\n\n*Attendance is free but spaces may be l
