  10 June 2021 | 15:00-17:00*\n\n*Abstract:*\nThe 'Epistemologies of Land' 
 webcast series will host international experts for discussions on the epis
 temology of land\, ahead of a related publication which will highlight the
  role of the land on\, and with which\, human relations are enacted and ho
 w this land affects the knowledge that is generated and brought to use in 
 social relations. The events are open to interested graduate and postgradu
 ate researchers.\n\n\n*Speaker:*\nLouisa Prause is a Postdoctoral Research
 er in the Department of Agricultural Economics\, Humboldt-Universität zu 
 Berlin.\n\nLouisa's research aims to uncover where efforts towards sustain
 able transformations of western societies have negative\, sometimes uninte
 nded environmental and social consequences. She does this by highlighting 
 such impacts in the Global South with a focus on land and agrarian relatio
 ns and the extractive sector. Her current project deals with the bio-econo
 my and the impacts of the digitalisation of agriculture on labour and agra
 rian relations\, land conflicts & data sovereignty.\n\n*Attendance is free
