DESCRIPTION:I will present some dispersive properties for the linear Vlaso
 v equation in geometric backgrounds motivated by the study of collisionles
 s many particle systems in physical settings. I'll begin discussing some f
 eatures of the Vlasov equation in spaces with constant curvature. Later\, 
 I will present new results on the study of the Vlasov equation in the exte
 rior of a spherically symmetric solution of the Einstein vacuum equations\
 , the celebrated Schwarzschild black hole.
