 tract: The experimental collaborations at the LHC aim to eventually measur
 e the\nmass of the W boson with an uncertainty of about 10 MeV\, which wou
 ld\nrival the precision available from global electroweak fits. At this\nl
 evel of precision\, effects that were previously considered to be small\nc
 an become relevant. One such effect are mixed QCD-electroweak\ncorrections
 . I will discuss our recent calculation of mixed QCD-EW\ncorrections to on
 -shell W and Z production at the LHC and how we use\nthese results to esti
 mate their impact on the W mass measurements at the\nLHC.\n\nThe slides ar
