DESCRIPTION:In The Descent of Man and Selection in Relation to Sex\, Darwi

rvels that it can both promote – as well as interfere with – human fun
ctioning. In just one sentence from The Descent\, we will see Darwin ackn
owledge that he does not know the phylogeny of religious beliefs\; yet\, h
e will proffer how religion is perpetuated. This same sentence describes
how each individual’s lifespan development of religion is inculcated one
brain at a time\, a process I will summarize with the term: Culture Onto
