DESCRIPTION: Since 23 March 2020\, social distancing measures have been im
plemented in the UK to reduce SARS-CoV-2 transmission. We conducted a repe
ated cross-sectional survey to quantify and characterize non-household con
tact and to identify the effect of shielding and self-isolating on contact
patterns. Through an online questionnaire\, the CoCoNet study measured th
e daily interactions\, mobility and locations frequented by people living
in the UK. We present analysis of the survey results from the start of the
second wave of SARS-CoV-2 (July – August 2020) and during the second UK
  lockdown (November – December 2020).\n
