DESCRIPTION:Autism Spectrum Disorder is typically diagnosed with a combina
tion of developmental history and assessment of social communication\, und
ertaken face to face before the COVID 19 pandemic. Autism diagnostic servi
ces were disrupted entirely due to COVID as traditional forms of assessmen
ts\, including Autism Diagnostic Interview and Autism Diagnostic Observati
on Schedule\, could not be continued due to social distancing measures and
face masks. This disruption resulted in the number of digital solutions b
eing tried to conduct autism assessments. I will review the range of digit
al health assessment tools\, platforms\, and pathways used in the UK and i
nternationally. In addition\, I will touch on some developments in the use
of Machine Learning in autism diagnosis. I will share my experience of di
gitising the autism pathway in Peterborough Integrated Neurodevelopmental
Service. I will provide the policy context in England to find service mode
ls to reduce waiting times to diagnosis. Finally\, I will share early resu
lts from the Autism Diagnosis Pathway study that I am involved in.\n\n\n\n
