 informaticians discover new biomarkers of sensitivity and resistance for e
 ach new medicine\, our data scientists advance our technological toolkit u
 sing the latest in ML/AI\, and our computational biologists study the dise
 ases we treat to identify new targets\, new patient populations etc. \nIn 
 my talk I will cover some of our recent work across these three areas incl
 uding the use of knowledge graphs to identify mechanisms of resistance to 
 EGFR inhibitors (Gogleva et al. BioArxiv. 2021)\, network biology to creat
 e a patient selection marker for our A2AR inhibitor (Sidders et al. Clin. 
 Can. Res. 2020) and the ‘clinical transformer’ – a recasting of the 
 widely used transformer architecture as a method to model relations betwee
 n molecular & clinical measurements and the survival of cancer patients.
