 for LHC cross sections computed to third order in the strong coupling cons
 tant. These first examples at this perturbative order allow us to study th
 e impact of such high order corrections and demonstrate their need for ult
 imate LHC precision phenomenology. In particular\, I will discuss the prod
 uction cross section of a lepton pair - the so-called Drell-Yan cross sect
 ion.
