DESCRIPTION:Quantum field theories living in (non-fluctuating) de Sitter s
pace are constrained by the isometries of dS. At late times their correlat
ion functions look like those of a scale-invariant quantum field theory in
one lower dimension. However\, such conformal field theories don’t have
the same unitarity properties as standard CFTs\, which makes them difficu
lt to understand. In this talk I will argue that one can leverage the noti
on of unitarity coming from the bulk de Sitter space to nevertheless const
rain these late-time CFTs\, using methods borrowed from the conformal boot
strap program (which has e.g. been used to “solve” the 3d Ising model)
