DESCRIPTION:We conduct simulation study of two different models of two spe
cies driven diffusive lattice gas. These driven diffusive lattice gas mode
ls exhibit disordered phase\, phase separation parallel or perpendicular t
o the external driving field. We study the phase transitions between these
three states. The phase transitions are identified as discontinuous and c
ontinuous transitions by defining suitable order parameters. We observe a
non-trivial crossover between the phase separation parallel and perpendicu
lar to the external drive. We also discuss the relevance of these lattice
gas models to the driven colloidal particles experiments and simulations.
