DESCRIPTION:Students at the MRC Biostatistics Unit are excited to invite y
 ou to our hybrid symposium on Biostatistics for chronic diseases.\n \nThe 
 keynote lecture will be delivered by Vincent Plagnol (Genomics PLC)\, and 
 is entitled _The potential for genomics to empower a new prevention-first 
 agenda for healthcare_.\n\nWe also have talks by: Hélène Ruffieux\, Step
 hen Burgess\, Oscar Rueda and Francesa Gasperoni (members of the MRC Biost
 atistics Unit) as well as Guillermo Reales (Department of medicine\,  Univ
 ersity of Cambridge)\, Lois Kim (Cardiovascular Epidemiology Unit\, Univer
 sity of Cambridge)\, and Manuela Zucknick (Oslo Centre for Biostatistics a
 nd Epidemiology\, University of Oslo).\n\nPlease note\, the Workshop and L
 ecture will run as a hybrid event with the option to attend either in-pers
