DESCRIPTION:A new measurement of the muon g-2 has been recently reported b
y the Fermilab Muon g-2 collaboration and shows a 4.2σ departure from the
Standard Model (SM) prediction. At the same time\, the origin of the larg
e hierarchies in the SM fermion masses\, as well as the hierarchical struc
ture of the CKM quark mixing matrix\, constitute a long-standing open ques
tion in particle physics: the so-called SM flavor puzzle. One dynamical ap
proach to this puzzle is to couple the first two generations exclusively t
o a new subleading source of electroweak symmetry breaking\, in the form o
f a second Higgs doublet. In this talk\, we will discuss a SUSY realizatio
n of this mechanism and its impact on the muon g-2 anomaly. Contrary to th
e most studied SUSY models\, in this framework sleptons with masses in the
multi-TeV range can comfortably explain the anomaly. We will also discuss
additional phenomenological aspects of the model\, including its effects
 on tau flavor changing decays.
