DESCRIPTION:We are building an experiment in which a nitrogen-vacancy-cent
 re electron spin would be used to put a levitated nanodiamond into a spati
 al quantum superposition [1\,2]. This would be able to test theories of sp
 ontaneous wavefunction collapse and is the first step of a much more ambit
 ious experiment to test if gravitational effects can be in a quantum super
 position [3\,4]. This seminar will describe our improved experimental desi
