DESCRIPTION: “Hormones\, vitamins\, stimulants and depressives are oils 
 upon the creaky machinery of life.  Principal item\, however\, is the mach
 inery.”  Martin H. Fischer\n\nSport is about pushing the human body as f
 ar as is physically possible. But what about scientific advancements that 
 can surpass these limitations? The expanding spheres of molecular biology 
 and materials science give more possibilities to extend human strength and
  endurance. To confuse issues further\, there are a whole host of legal su
 pplements that can enhance performance\, and technology is improving sport
 s equipment not just humans.\n\nIn the second of two debates examining hum
 an enhancement\, join our panel of experts to discuss the impact science i
 s having and will have on sport.\n\nQuestions we hope to answer include:\n
 \nWhat constitutes a legal or illegal enhancement? Is ethical to enhance s
 porting performance with new technologies? Will expensive new technologies
  widen the rift between rich and poor nations on the field and in the stad
 ium? How can this myriad array of scientific add-ons be regulated?\n\nWe i
