DESCRIPTION:Over the last decade\, it has become clear that analysis of mu
 ltiple features on the same molecule using the same platform have an enorm
 ous advantage over combining multiple experiments done on different platfo
 rms. Depixus® is developing a single molecule platform based on magnetic 
 tweezer technology that will allow both genetic analysis of nucleic acid (
 either RNA or DNA) as well as their potential epigenetic modification on a
  single platform at single base resolution. One of the strengths of the pl
 atform is the non-destructive nature of the analysis\, which allows the re
 peated probing of the substrate with various blocking agents to extract th
 e desired information and increase the confidence in the event detected. M
 oreover\, the versatility of the platform allows analysis of molecules fro
 m a few bases up to kilobases\, which opens new avenues to analyze a broad
  range of native nucleic acid molecules.\n\nWe will be presenting our late
 st results on the detection of different base modifications on DNA and RNA
  with great sensitivity (>95%) as well as specificity. Moreover\, using ou
 r newly developed enrichment strategy\, we have been able to fully demonst
 rate the power of both genetic and epigenetic analysis by measuring repeat
  length of the fragile X syndrome gene (FmrI) as well as methylation statu
 s of the CpG island located in its 5’ UTR on the same molecule in health
 y versus affected individuals. We believe that the\nMAGNATM platform will 
 allow researchers to simplify analysis of native nucleic acids\, opening n
