 s\n\n\nAbout the Speaker\n\nJean is a co-founder and the CEO of Echion Tec
 hnologies. Prior to co-founding Echion\, Jean was the University of Cambri
 dge NanoDTC Translational Fellow\, bridging the gap between academia and b
 usinesses. Following graduate studies in Ecole Centrale Paris\, France he 
 investigated novel battery materials during his PhD at Cambridge Universit
 y Engineering Department. Jean is the recipient of multiple scientific and
  business awards\, including the Forbes 30 under 30 Europe list.\n\nAbout 
 the Company\n\nEchion Technologies (“Echion”) is a leading developer o
 f next generation materials for Lithium-Ion batteries. Its products delive
 r a unique combination of fast-charging capability\, cost-effectiveness\, 
 and high energy density\; vital for the world’s shift towards decarbonis
 ation through pervasive electrification.\n\nEchion was born in the labs of
  the University of Cambridge Engineering Department. The company spun-out 
 in 2017 with the ongoing support of Cambridge Enterprise and the academic 
 co-founders Adam Boies and Michael De Volder. Echion is now based in Sawst
 on\, Cambridge (UK)\, where their state-of-the-art facilities are fully-eq
 uipped to invent the battery materials of tomorrow\, produce them at the p
 ilot scale\, and integrate them into battery cells.
