DESCRIPTION:The Landau-Fermi-Dirac equation is a model of kinetic theory w
hich describes the evolution of particles undergoing grazing collisions an
d subjected to Pauli's exclusion principle. In a work in common with Ricar
do Alonso\, V&eacute\;ronique Bagland and Bertrand Lods\, we study some pr
operties of the spatially homogeneous solutions to this equation\, for a l
arge variety of cross sections including hard potentials and moderately so
ft potentials. All the estimates that we provide are uniform with respect
to the parameter measuring the quantum effects (adimensionalized Schr&ouml
\;dinger's constant) when it is bounded above\, so that they also hold for
the usual Landau equation (without quantum effects).
