DESCRIPTION:All cells in our body continuously sample their surrounding fo
 r cues and instructions and need to convert these into appropriate respons
 es\, often in the form of altered transcriptional programs. As these decis
 ions are made by individual cells\, we have developed technologies to stud
 y intracellular signaling and transcriptional output. Using these approach
 es\, our lab is trying to understand what determines how a cell responds a
 nd  why some cells respond in a certain way and others differently in both
  normal and disease contexts.
