  of the Smart Flow project. The project has participants from the Computer
  Laboratory\, Imperial College\, and the Eastern Cancer Registration and I
 nformation Centre.\n\nSmart Flow aims to examine issues of reconfigurabili
 ty\, policy\, and security in distributed event based systems\, with a par
 ticular focus on managing flows of healthcare-related data.\n\nWe will dis
 cuss some of our initial work into a distributed information flow model th
 at is tuned toward use within event based systems.
