 529/\n\nHeat pumps and saving energy in a domestic environment are frequen
 tly in the media. This webinar will help homeowners understand how heat pu
 mps work\, how they are designed and installed and why they are a good opt
 ion for improving energy efficiency. We will also investigate alternative 
 low carbon heating options and some new technology which will be followed 
 by a Q&A with the audience. Our speaker\, Warren Pope\, will look at what 
 heat pumps are available and how they work. He will also consider if heat 
 pumps are the only option and answer some common "is it true?" questions.\
 n\nWarren Pope is the Retrofit Project Manager with RetrofitWorks Ltd seek
 ing to design and implement an energy efficient retrofit programme in Camb
 ridgeshire. This is part of the Eastern New Energy research collaboration 
 which aims to roll out the retrofit project using industry leading tools t
 o analyse the regional housing stock\, build a locally led cooperative mem
 bership and support the local region in meeting carbon emission targets. W
 arren is an ESOS Lead Assessor for buildings\, processes and transport wit
 h extensive experience in the built environment\, including technology con
 sultancy for the selection of renewable technology\, energy management and
