DESCRIPTION:Everyone is welcome to this Guest Academic Speaker seminar by 
 Dr. Dana Hanesova. Dana holds a Senior Lecturer position at the University
  of Matej Bel\, Banska Bystrica\, Slovakia while she is currently a visiti
 ng scholar in Cambridge.\n\nSeminar Abstract: This seminar will give an in
 terim report on a project to investigate the historically sensitive phenom
 enon of moral and religious education in former communist countries. It wi
 ll outline the current models of moral and religious education in post-com
 munist EU countries in comparison with those in other EU countries and sur
 vey the main factors influencing the present situation as well as current 
 educational goals and teaching methods. The work on this seminar was suppo
