DESCRIPTION:We explore the cosmological version of Euclidean black hole th
 ermodynamics\, namely the gravitational path integral over compact manifol
 ds\, in various dimensions. In general dimension we discuss the thermodyna
 mic picture of the sphere path integral in terms of the quantum field theo
 retic Hilbert space in a Lorentzian de Sitter. In three-dimensions all-loo
 p results are available for the pure gravity path integral\, and an edge-m
 ode picture is contemplated. In two-dimensions we discuss attempts for a m
 icroscopic picture in terms of random matrices for the all loop and all ge
 nus path integral.
