DESCRIPTION:Vortex dynamics are key to the superconducting transition at l
 ow temperatures and high fields that outlines the zero resistance state. T
 he onset of this transition is a function of temperature\, magnetic field\
 , chemical doping\, applied current\, as well as being dependant on sample
  quality. This talk will look into the contribution from these various fac
 tors in an attempt to understand the underlying behaviour of this fragile 
 superconducting state.
