SUMMARY:Flavour Anomalies-Collider Interplay - Prof. Ben Allanach\, Univer
 sity of Cambridge

DESCRIPTION:A set of measurements is \ncurrently strongly pointing towards
\nbeyond the Standard Model in particle physics: the so-called\n`flavour a
nomalies'. I will describe these measurements in general terms \nand descr
ibe what new physics can explain them. The new physics\nquantum fields com
e in two classes: flavour-changing leptoquarks or\nZ-primes. I will say ho
w these can be found by direct searches in\nparticle colliders\, and how t
hey may shed light on the fermion mass\npuzzle.
LOCATION:Both in-person (at Potter room\, DAMTP) and online (details to be
  sent by email)
