DESCRIPTION:I will present recent results concerning examples of loss of r
 egularity for solutions to linear transport equations with advecting field
  in Sobolev spaces  below the Lipschitz class. I will discuss how this los
 s is generic and can be made instantaneous and total (that is\, there exis
 t smooth initial data for which the solution leaves instantaneously any So
