 tween. He was president of the Royal Literary Society from 2009 to 2017\, 
 with his work recognised by awards from the Royal Scottish Geographical So
 ciety\, Royal Geographical Society\, Royal Society for Asian Affairs and S
 panish Geographical Society.\n\n\nJoin us to hear about his latest travels
