 rs have been classified by Lusztig in the 70's. The original parametrisati
 on involves unipotent classes of the reductive group as well as some repre
 sentation theoretic data associated to some "small" finite groups.\nIn thi
 s talk I will explain how one can guess (and obtain in many cases) a simil
 ar parametrisation for irreducible representations in positive characteris
 tic. The situation becomes particularly interesting when the characteristi
 c is small. &nbsp\;
