DESCRIPTION:Related to a question of Brauer on bounds on the entries of th
 e Cartan matrix of block of a finite group\, Donovan's conjecture suggests
  that there should only be finitely many Morita equivalence classes of blo
 cks with a given defect group. There has been some progress on this conjec
 ture\, and where it is known to be true we might try to list such classes.
  I will review progress on Donovan's conjecture and the description of Mor
 ita equivalence classes of blocks with a given defect.&nbsp\;
