 icine. For example\, the platinum complex cisplatin and its derivatives ox
 aliplatin and carboplatin are employed in more than 50% of the treatment r
 egimes for patients suffering from cancer! \nOver the last years\, our res
 earch group focused its attention on the development of novel metal comple
 xes as imaging and therapeutic agents against cancer and parasitic disease
 s. During this talk\, we will present our latest results\, including in vi
 vo results\, on these topics.\n
