DESCRIPTION:Non-local primordial non-Gaussianity is a smoking gun of inter
actions in single-field inflationary models\, and can be written as a comb
ination of the equilateral and orthogonal templates. I present the first c
onstraints on these templates from the redshift-space galaxy power spectra
and bispectra of the Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (BOSS) data.
These are the first such measurements independent of the cosmic microwave
background fluctuations. I discuss how the constraints on these templates
can be translated to bounds on the coefficients of the Lagrangian of sing
le-clock inflation. Then\, I present the constraints on primordial non-Gau
ssianity of the local type\, typical of multi-field models of inflation\,
 from the same data.
