DESCRIPTION:The cohomology theories capture topological\, complex and alge
 braic structures on an algebraic variety. The moduli spaces play an import
 ant role in Algebraic Geometry\, and the Cohomology structure on both Bett
 i and their Chow groups\, are of wide interest. The study of geometrically
  defined cycles has been carried out on moduli of curves\, and moduli of a
 belian varieties. We propose to have a similar study on moduli of semi-sta
 ble vector bundles on a curve. We consider the cohomology classes of Brill
  Noether subvarieties and try to understand the structure of the algebra g
 enerated by the classes. It turns out to have a structure similar to the P
 oincar&eacute\;&nbsp\;formula found on the Jacobian of a curve\, in certai
 n cases.
