DESCRIPTION:Given Tyurin degenerations of Calabi&ndash\;Yau manifolds into
  unions of two quasi-Fano varieties. Doran&ndash\; Harder&ndash\;Thompson 
 predicted that the Landau-Ginzburg mirrors of these two quasi-Fano varieti
 es can be glued together to obtain the mirror of the Calabi-Yau variety wh
 ich admits a fibration structure over P^1. I will explain a generalization
  of this conjecture to the degenerations of quasi-Fano varieties and how t
 o use it to study higher codimension fibration structures of Calabi&ndash\
 ;Yau manifolds. This is based on joint work with Charles Doran and Jordan 
 Kostiuk.
