DESCRIPTION:Nature Human Behaviour is part of the Nature portfolio journal
 s. Our aim is to publish research of outstanding significance into any asp
ect of individual and collective human behaviour.\n \nThe journal’s scop
e is thematic rather than discipline-based\, drawing from a broad range of
disciplines that span the natural and social sciences. Our goal is to str
engthen the visibility and impact of the disciplines that study human beha
viour\, promote interaction among disciplines\, and support robust scienti
fic practices.\n \nIn this presentation\, I will present the scope and aim
s of the journal and how it relates to other journals in the Nature portfo
lio. I will also shed light on the editorial processes at Nature Human Beh
aviour and the other Nature portfolio journals (including Nature\, the Com
munications journals\, and Scientific Reports): what do editors look for i
n the papers we want to publish\, how we make decisions\; I will also talk
about how to write a paper for submission to Nature Human Behaviour and o
ther Nature Research journals and what to expect in peer review. Finally\,
we will discuss how Nature Human Behaviour\, but also other Nature portfo
lio journals promote robust\, reproducible science and how we can continue
to support the community in this goal going forward.\n
