DESCRIPTION:WIMP Direct detection experiments have reached the sensitivity
  required to detect WIMPs and are beginning to probe the parameter space o
 f supersymmetric models. The signals expected in these experiments\, in pa
 rticular the annual modulation\, depend on the ultra-local (sub-milli-pc) 
 dark matter distribution. I will overview recent results on the dark matte
 r velocity and density distribution\, before focusing on work in progress 
 on the ultra-local dark matter distribution.\n
