DESCRIPTION:Identifying who is at highest risk of severe consequences of C
OVID-19\, such as hospitalisation or death\, is an important component of
any policy response. One of the best sources of information on who experie
nces these events is linked electronic health record data. Using these dat
 a to identify high-risk patients\, however\, raises a number of methodolog
ical challenges. This talk discusses the use of linked primary care data w
ithin the OpenSAFELY platform to predict risk of COVID-19 mortality and th
 e challenges of doing so.
