DESCRIPTION:The University of Cambridge is a centre of innovation where en
 trepreneurial organisations have a significant role in converting cutting-
 edge research into successful companies. In the past four years CUTEC has 
 showcased examples of how inventions become innovations through venture fu
 nds. We are continuously broadening our scope to promote entrepreneurship 
 by establishing partnership between the University and the venture capital
  industry. Our activities present opportunities for students to evaluate t
 he impact their research can have on everyday life.\n\nThe conference them
 e\, “Emerging Technologies\, opportunities for tomorrow”\, focuses on 
 the challenges and successes of starting up a business whose technology co
 uld change our lifestyle in the future. We explore this topic by looking a
 t the fields of internet communication\, sustainable energy and personalis
 ed medicines. Most importantly\, we would like to thank our keynote speake
 rs\, panelists and personalised medicines.
