DESCRIPTION:The talk will address two EB models with memory arising in cli
 mate dynamics consisting of a 1D degenerate parabolic equation involving a
  memory term and a reaction term of Budyko/Sellers type\, in the usual ter
 minology). Beside discussing&nbsp\;existence and regularity of solutions\,
  we will provide uniqueness and stability estimates that can be used to re
 construct the insolation function in Sellers' model with memory. We will a
 lso briefly discuss ongoing relatedresearch concerning a two-layer EB mode
 l. These results are cointained in joint works with&nbsp\;M. Malfitana\, P
 . Martinez\, J. Vancostenoble\, and C. Urbani.
