DESCRIPTION:In recent years a lot of states were discovered experimentally
  in the heavy quark sector that do not fit into the scheme\ndictated by th
 e quark model\, which was believed to work well in this sector. Theoretica
 lly the nature of those so called\nexotic states is not yet fully resolved
 \, but combined analyses of effective field theories and lattice QCD carry
  the promise\nto solve the puzzle. In this talk I discuss how this program
  works on the example of the positive parity singly heavy\nground states.
