DESCRIPTION:The detection of gravitational waves (GWs) has opened a new er
a in cosmology\, as they provide a new probe to study the universe. This e
nables us to acquire information which is not available through optical me
asurements. However\, using GWs comes with its challenges due to the limit
ed number of events and comparatively poor resolution. In my talk\, I will
give an overview of a set of interrelated projects in the field of cosmol
ogy and astrophysics\, both for current and future detector networks. Thes
e span the research areas of H0 inference\, galaxy properties and their as
sociation with compact binaries\, lensing\, and the large scale structure
 of the universe.
