DESCRIPTION:Large gauge symmetries of asymptotically flat Einstein gravity
in 4 dimensions are extremely well understood. The asymptotic symmetry gr
oup is infinite dimensional\, and the Ward identities of the associated ch
arges lead to the infinitely many soft theorems of gravitational scatterin
 g. These infinitely many soft theorems exist in 6 dimensions as well. Howe
ver\, the construction of the corresponding charges has long remained elus
ive.\nIn this talk I will present a way of constructing a consistent phase
space of asymptotically flat Einstein gravity in 6 dimensions. In contras
t with previous work\, this phase space allows for the existence of super-
rotations. Furthermore\, I will explain how one can normalize the associat
ed charges using an ambiguity in the symplectic form of gravity.
