DESCRIPTION:We are in a leadership and motivational crisis today - as indi
 viduals\, in our organisations\, and as a society at large. \n\nThis inter
 active workshop with world-leading expert on leadership Sharath Jeevan OBE
  will bring together aspiring leaders in the Jesus College and Cambridge c
 ommunity to explore:\n\n* the 3 big external shifts that affect us as lead
 ers: the shift from Kind to Wicked Problems\, from Extrinsic to Intrinsic 
 Motivation\, & from Managing Talent to Nurturing Potential \n* how we can 
 build deep awareness from within (Intrinsic Leadership) to ground ourselve
 s as leaders\, and be truly authentic within and across our work and perso
 nal lives\n* how we can cut the umbilical cord with old "baggage" (particu
 larly our own limiting assumptions\, and social pressures to conform and c
 ompare)\n* how we can navigate direction\, deeply motivate ourselves and o
 thers\, and nurture our own potential and of those we lead\n* how we can t
 ake the first practical steps we can take to "show up"\, role model\, and 
 lead others powerfully and differently\n\nThe event will be in the form of
  highly interactive "Guided Journey" – you will come out with a set of d
 eep insights about yourself as a future leader. You'll also have the chanc

 on intrinsic leadership. \n\nHe's the author of the highly acclaimed book 
 "Intrinsic"\, and will be using your input from the workshop in developing
  his new book (_New Leaders\, New Rules_). \n\nSharath supports organisati
 ons ranging from L'Oreal & Shopify\, to Oxford (Said Business School) and 
 Imperial College\, to the NHS and national governments around the world. \
 n\nSharath is a Cambridge alumnus (Sidney\, Economics\, 94-97) and also ho
 lds masters degrees from Oxford & INSEAD. He was awarded an OBE in 2022\, 
 and an honorary Doctorate in 2017\, for his contributions to his field.\n
