DESCRIPTION:This talk is an invitation to the theory of non-positively cur
 ved cube complexes. I will introduce these objects and try to convince you
  that they are nice and interesting. I will also tell you what it means to
  “cubulate a group”\, what is the standard strategy for doing such a t
 hing\, what sort of groups this strategy works for\, and –time permittin
 g– why you might care.
