 hould I use the passive voice?  The goal of this RCC is to provide an inte
 ractive forum to discuss the craft of technical writing.  The talk will be
 gin with a quick presentation on the basics of structuring a conference pa
 per.  Next\, we'll dive into a series of examples to shed light on the qua
 lities of a lucid sentence.  The last part of the RCC will be devoted to c
 ritiquing actual papers that participants are writing.\n\n*Important Note:
